OpenVISP is a set of softwares to help organization or small ISP to efficiently setup Virtual ISP as well as help-desk support. The concept is to automate all the tasks as much as possible and let users do the work themselves using a single web interface.

The project is split in multiple parts like the front-end , database admin, statistics and other future modules

We currently have several projects to be used as the core of the idea of 'lite' ISP management. These project can be seen as being the “core” projects.

We have the following projects in the “core”:

• The Web interface OpenVISP Admin Admin
• The SQL to LDAP bridge OpenVISP OpenLDAP-Perl OpenLDAP-Perl
• The Mail Server statistics Open VISP Stats Stats
• Others projects

These projects can be used outside OpenVISP Core projects. OpenVISP CORE project has been designed for this others projects.

We have :

• Apache 2.x mod_vhs for the virtual hosting
• syslogger which is a tool used to send logs to a remote syslog
